ly  $12,000-20,000  a new school building can be constructed by a Haiti Endowment Fund team that will last for decades. What a blessing it would be if your church or school could help to sponsor the construction of a school. The goal of HEF is to begin construction of 4 of these schools within the year of 2010 and to continue until all of our schools have safe and lasting facilities.

The word of God is taught in the schools, transforming hearts and helping to raise up a new generation in Haiti that is filled with the hope of Christ and an education to better their lives. Almost 3,000 children are fed daily so that they receive spiritual and physical nourishment.

We are also in the process of making a garden/agriculture training area near each school and already have 2 successfully thriving and teaching the Haitian people skills to help sustain themselves.

Could you prayerfully consider helping us to reach this goal?

At the end of the last medical team trip to Haiti on March 23 Dr. Combs traveled with 2 patients to Port au Prince to a hospital to see Dr. Scott Nelson, orthopedic surgeon, for evaluation.  This young lady had a severe deformity of her leg and was able to get surgery to make her leg compatible for prosthesis and she will be able to walk for the first time in her life. She is 22 years old.

The second young woman has been walking on her knees through mud and dirt and rocks all of her life. She has already had one surgery and will have another this spring.  This surgery should make it possible for her to walk on her feet for the first time in her life. Imagine.  Please keep both of these ladies in prayer.
