I am happy to report that team 3 has safely arrived in Haiti after spending an extra day to reach Hinche due to more difficult travel itinerary since the earthquake. Since arriving in Haiti we have seen over 400 patients in two of our regular villages and our compound. We have taken care of patients that were injured from the earthquake at every village we went to.

On Feb. 10th we were able to go to a refuge camp for people displaced by the earthquake from PAP. When we arrived we witnessed a prayer meeting in the middle of the day that left an everlasting impression in our hearts. The emotional and spiritual pain that the people were expressing was enough to bring tears to anyone. In spite of all their loss they were still able to sing “All hail the power of Jesus’ Name, let angels prostrate fall. Join in the song with sweet accord and crown Him, Lord of all.” What a testimony from the ones that are suffering. We have been taught much from our brothers and sisters in Haiti. After attending the last 20 minutes of their prayer meeting, we backed up our two pick up trucks next to their dwelling and attended to all their health needs working out of the tailgate of our trucks. Unlike our other clinics, we dealt a lot more with emotional stress from the aftermath of the earthquake. What a privilege it was for us to be able to minister to them in the little way that we did. God is so good to us.
Today we went to the hospital for the second time since arriving in Hinche. We had a little more time and so were able to go visit with the children who had been brought to Hinche for multiple medical problems, including severe burns, multiple fractures, etc. We passed out Beanie Babies and little cars, along with letters written by many elementary students from the Temecula, Murrietta, Lake Elsinore and Menifee area. It was exciting to see the little boys and girls faces’ light up with joy as they received their little present. Once again, we were so blessed to be a part of such a joyful work that God has called us to do. We thank you for all your prayers that have allowed us to be apart of this wonderful organization. Good night.
