Our medical ministry is one more area where God has worked miracles. This ministry has flourished because of the dedication and generosity of so many individuals in the medical fields. God has given us doctors, dentists, eye doctors, RN’s and support personnel. They have all given of their time and God given talents. Each year we are now providing four medical mission trips to the clinic in Hinche and to many of the surrounding villages. The new clinic was completed last year, 2007. It consists of six exam rooms, an office, medical supplies room and a patient waiting room. This facility and equipment has enabled the doctors to treat most conditions and perform minor surgeries. The medical staff will usually treat thousands of patients during each trip.

I wish that everyone could experience what it’s like to drive up to a remote village and see the hundreds of hurting people waiting to find help for their illnesses. Some of them have never seen a doctor before. They are all so thankful for anything you can do for help them. There are no stores, doctor’s offices, bandages or even Tylenol. These medical mission trips have changed the lives and eased the suffering of thousands of Haitians.

We have witnessed how God has used this ministry to soften the hearts, break down prejudice and open the way to preach the Gospel. Many have accepted Christ and now serve him. We have also seen significant improvements in the overall health of the people in these villages. Village Pastors have told us that they are having fewer deaths, as a direct result of receiving regular medical intervention.

God has made all this possible and influenced the hearts of many professional people who have freely, labored so tirelessly, in Christ's love. Nevertheless, the cost of providing the necessary supplies and medicines is a constant challenge. Medical supplies do not come cheap and there is no insurance company to send the bill to. We need your assistance to care for the thousands of patients treated each missions trip.  Will you help?
